Welcome to Phoenix Consulting. In an age where clients develop expectations in their minds about each supplier's product, service quality and prices, it is important to clearly state our mission. Phoenix is client focused. Together we develop technology solutions for our clients specified needs. By keeping the technical jargon in the background and the needs of people up front we focus on the needs of the people within your organization. Our training programs eliminate the fear of the technology and help our clients see the system as just another tool to help them do their jobs better. All Phoenix associates share a common goal: providing the best resources and services for our clients. Phoenix consultants provide you with over 120 years of combined personal computer and data processing experience in positions such as programmers, teachers, system designers, data processing managers, project leaders, facilities managers, data base analysts, network specialists and business administrators. Our staff works closely with clients to clarify needs and translate these needs to computerized solutions. We help guide the decision process for the optimum solution for today and tomorrow. Finally we provide a complete range of services that permits you to deal with one vendor for all of your computer needs. Customer satisfaction is the best measure of our success. We measure ourselves periodically to make sure we continue to deliver to your highest standards. Since 1982 our success has been due to repeat and referral business. This demonstrates both satisfied clientele and our commitment to provide consistent services and support. Phoenix Consulting, Inc. was incorporated in May of 1982. The primary focus of the business at that time was contract programming on large mainframe computers. We gradually moved into the midrange computing environment, working on computers such as the IBM system 34 and 36. In 1985, we began working extensively with microcomputers. As more clients acquired a mix of computing equipment that spanned all three environments (mainframe, midrange and microcomputers), and as more of them wanted to connect them together to share information, we moved in this direction. Today, we still work with all three computing environments. In 1988, Phoenix formed a "hardware division" that focuses primarily on building, fixing, maintaining and supporting microcomputer equipment, peripherals and software. Because we stock many of the most often required components at our office in Madison, we like to believe we can be more responsive to client needs and problems than many organizations. Our commitment to service and support is the primary reason for the significant amount of repeat and referral business we receive. We prefer not to advertise our services extensively; nor are we interested in growing too large to continue our personalized approach to client support. We currently have three full time technical specialists, plus several others who can assist as necessary. We offer extensive support for Windows based LANs. This support includes furnishing of equipment, software, support and training for all facets of LAN environments. |
